Historique :	L’œuvre originale a été découverte en 1870. Elle date du IIIe-IVe siècle avant J.-C. et elle est caractéristique de la statuaire ibérique avant la romanisation. Elle a été retrouvée sur le site de Cerro de los Santos (Montealegre) près d'un sanctuaire ibérique en fonction entre le IVe siècle et la romanisation. Cette œuvre appartient à un ensemble de figures sculptées représentées debout avec une offrande entre les mains. Ces exemples de sculpture ibérique permettent de connaître les habitudes vestimentaires des classes supérieures de l'époque qui offraient des ex-voto à leur image. Prêté à l'exposition Picasso Ibero organisée à la Fondation Botin (Santander, Espagne) du 30 avril au 12 septembre 2021. La demande d'autorisation de sortie temporaire d'un trésor mentionne : le numéro d'inventaire D-79-4301 et classé le 18/11/2019. La fondation Botin propose une exposition organisée en partenariat exceptionnel avec le musée du Louvre et le musée Picasso autour des relations nouées entre Picasso et l'art ibérique.
