Description :	Moulage en plâtre. Différence avec l'original : la statue d'Aristogiton du groupe des Tyrannoctones, découverte acéphale, avait reçu en restauration une tête que l'on considère plutôt comme une tête de Méléagre, jusqu'à ce que, par comparaison , on retrouva l'aspect que devait avoir la tête originale : une tête plus âgée d'un homme barbu, comme celle du Phérékydès de Madrid. A Bordeaux, la tête dite de Méléagre se trouve toujours sur le corps d'Aristogiton. Les attributs sexuels sont absents du tirage en plâtre. Il peut s'agir d'un état ancien ou d'un accident postérieur relativement ancien car le badigeon recouvre cette zone. Le trou qui permettait à la lame de l'arme d'être maintenue dans la poignée est absent du tirage en plâtre.
