Historique :	Ce bassin fut exécuté par un orfèvre bordelais non identifié entre 1773 et 1774 sans doute pour l'hôpital Saint-André dont il porte la marque. Raclette par G. Dupouy, orfèvre bordelais dans la première moitié du 19e siècle dont elle porte le poinçon de maître (losange horizontal) avec la garantie gros ouvrage.
