Description :	Le corps central est constitué de trois pans rythmés par quatre colonnes fuselées, surmontés d'une architrave sur laquelle s'appuie la gloire. Le pan central abrite un tableau représentant saint Pierre et le tabernacle est posé sur le maître-autel tombeau. ce dernier repose sur une plate-forme à trois marches.

Historique :	En 1767, Barthélémy Cabirolt (1737/1786), ébéniste, construit pour l'église de Salignac un retable avec son imposant tabernacledans le style baroque rococo de l'époque. Au 19e siècle, une réfection est entreprise, celle-ci introduit une architecture néo-classique aux côtés du tabernacle et de la gloire d'origine.
