Historique :	Statue en bois polychrome, doré et argenté, du 17e siècle, représentant saint Remède, pendant d'une statue de saint Savin qui ornait un retable aujourd'hui disparu. Ces datation et hypothèse ont été émises par Paul Roudié dans une étude consacrée à l'église de Saint-Léger-de- Balson. (extrait PV Commission départementale des objets mobiliers d’octobre 2014).

Observations :	Annule et remplace la notice PM33002542 supprimée (doublon).
Précision_sur la protection :	Cette sculpture a été protégée deux fois : classement d’une statue de saint évêque intervenu en 1967 (Saint évêque, 18e siècle), et inscription d’un saint Remède le 26/10/2015. L'arrêté du 26/10/2015 modifiant et annulant l'arrêté du 31/07/2015 portant inscription au titre des monuments historiques de neuf objets mobiliers à Saint-Léger-de-Balson, Gironde.
